Visit Expedition Outposts is actually a requirement of two of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges in Season 7.

Finding these Expedition Outpost locations will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 7 rewards.

If you're just getting started, our Fortnite Battle Royale tips and tricks can provide some helpful hints.

Expedition Outpost Locations

You'll need to visit sevel Expedition Outpost locations, and to our knowledge there are exactly seven on the map. They're dotted around fairly evenly, so it may take a couple of games, but thankfully they're pretty easy to find, seeing as they're all big, red buildings!

Here are seven we've found - enough to complete the challenge.

Getting things ready for the arrival of the Season 8 release date? Make sure you have found all the Snowfall secret Battle Star locations and Fortnite Prisoner stages. You can do so by completing each week's set of Fortnite Challenges - the latest including Shooting Gallery locations, Golden Balloon locations, sundial, oversized cup of coffee and giant dog's head locations and Expedition Outpost locations. There are also additional Overtime Challenges - including Coins on Featured Creative Islands and Motel and RV Park locations, Racetrack or Dance Club locations and Fortnite Waterfall locations.

How do you complete visit Expedition Outposts?

For the Week 7 and Week 10 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:

  • Week 7: Visit Expedition Outposts (7 total, 5 Battle Stars)
  • Week 10: Visit Expedition Outposts in a single match (4 total, 5 Battle Stars)

Across the map are Expedition Outposts. They're easy to spot, being large, red buildings, and are actually marked on the map subtly as well - and they haven't changed location between Week 7 and Week 10, so you can do both at once easily!

The only key point to note is that for the Week 10 challenges, you need to visit all of the required four in a single match, whereas for the Week 7 challenge, it's just 7 int total but across as many matches as it takes.

When you find one, you don't need to interact with it or do anything, just get within a few yards of it and it will be added to your total.

Do this a total of seven (or four) times to complete the challenge. As with other challenges, you must do these as you play matches (you cannot enter the map without other players), so you'll have to avoid combat encounters as you attempt to find each location - but thankfully it doesn't need to be completed in one game, you can take as many matches as you like to do visit them all.

When you are done, there are plenty of other Challenges to take on this week - so keep playing!
