Anthem Early Access start time and how to get Early Access

Now that the two Demos are out of the way, it's just the final Early Access period to go before the game's full launch. Here's a quick reminder of how Early Access works for different platforms and subscribers, and how you can get it:

  • Anthem Early Access - full game (PC only): 15th February. Requires an Origin Access Premier subscription.
  • Anthem Early Access - 10 hours (PC and Xbox Only): 15th February. Requires an EA Access or Origin Access Basic subscription.
  • Anthem Full Release Date (all platforms): 22nd February.

Anthem Early Access start times

Early Access, for both Origin Access Premier and EA Access / Origin Access Basic subscribers, goes live on Friday 15th February at the following times simultaneously worldwide:

  • UK: 3pm (GMT)
  • Europe: 4pm (CET)
  • East Coast US: 10am (EDT)
  • West Coast US: 7am (PDT)

Remember that only Origin Access Premier subscribers, on PC, will have access to the full game from this date and time. Others in Early Access - using EA Access or Origin Access Basic - will have 10 hours of playtime before they're cut off, and can then resume playing again from the full release date on the 22nd.

Your progress will carry over regardless - as long as you're playing on the same platform of course - so either way it's a good chance to get a head start on the grind.

Anthem Early Access preload times

Preloads are a bit all over the place for Anthem, thanks to the various differences in when and how you can play the game across different platforms.

For PC players and Xbox players, the Early Access preloads should be live right now, so you can get downloading right away before the game goes live later on.

For PS4 players, you won't be able to play until the full release date on the 22nd February, and there's no confirmation just yet on when full-game preloads will go live.
