Finding the Water Tower, Ranger Tower and Air Traffic Control Tower locations is the objective of one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 7 rewards.

If you're just getting started, our Fortnite Battle Royale tips and tricks can provide some helpful hints.

Fortnite Water Tower, Ranger Tower and Air Traffic Control Tower locations at a glance

For the Week 5 Challenges, you are tasked with the following, which unlock in sequence:

  • Stage 1: Dance on top of a Water Tower
  • Stage 2: Dance on top of a Ranger Tower
  • Stage 3: Dance on top of a Air Traffic Control Tower

Here are the Water Tower, Ranger Tower and Air Traffic Control Tower locations at a glance:

First, you don't have to worry about whether or not this needs to be completed in one match, obviously, as unlike most other challenges, you only need to do it the one time.

Second, you might be wondering how to dance if you're new to the game. To do so, bring up the Emotes wheel (D-Pad on console, or press B on PC), and then select an emote that makes your character dance. You'll get a pop up on your screen when you've successfully danced on one, so you'll know when it works!

Here are their locations in further detail...

Fortnite Water Tower location

You'll find this in the south-east of Retail Row - a thin and black tower right in the corner.

You'll want to land on it from a glider - so do so from the start of a match, or from a plane.

Land on top and dance and on the next match, get ready for the Ranger Tower location.

Fortnite Ranger Tower location

You'll know the Ranger Tower location as soon as you think about it - it's the elevated hut in the south of Lonely Lodge.

Get right on top of the roof - the level below won't do - and dance to unlock this part of the challenge. Though landing on it from the start of the match is easiest, building or using a Grapple Gun is also possible since you can climb up the stairs most of the way up.

Next is the third and final step - the Air Traffic Control Tower location.

Getting things ready for the arrival of the Season 8 release date? Make sure you have found all the Snowfall secret Battle Star locations and Fortnite Prisoner stages. You can do so by completing each week's set of Fortnite Challenges - the latest including Shooting Gallery locations, Golden Balloon locations, sundial, oversized cup of coffee and giant dog's head locations and Expedition Outpost locations. There are also additional Challenges - including Coins on Featured Creative Islands and Motel and RV Park locations, too.

Fortnite Air Traffic Control Tower location

A quick look at the map shows this can only be in one location - Frosty Flights. You're looking for the standalone tower with a satellite dish on top:

As with the Ranger Tower, that you can climb up most of the way with stairs means building or using the Grapple Gun is possible. That said, if you land there at the start of the match, or from a plane, then do so - it means you can get in, dance, and away before anyone spots you.

Already done? There are plenty of other Challenges to take on this week - so keep playing!
