Pokémon Let's Go Rock Tunnel - available Pokémon, items and trainers

Our complete Pokémon Let's Go walkthrough and guide to your big adventure with Pikachu or Eevee.

Rock Tunnel, a fairly expansive dungeon that you first enter on Route 10 is the next stop in your quest through Pokémon Let's Go's main story.

Below, we'll cover any and all of the obtainable Pokémon, item locations, trainers and their squads that you might encounter in the area, as well as walking you through any key steps of the story along the way.

We've also opted to break out walkthrough pages down into sections, referring to each of your visits to a given location, seeing as you often backtrack or revisit various places in your quest to become Champion! Where applicable, we'll split our page into one section for each visit, and of course if there are any, clearly mark any spoilers, too!

For more like this, be it specific systems explainers or walkthrough pages on more locations, head back to our main Pokémon Let's Go walkthrough and guide hub.

Pokémon Let's Go: Rock Tunnel - available Pokémon, items and trainers

Rock Tunnel, when you enter, will be pitch black, with just a few silhouettes visible from the cave around you. You'll need the Secret Technique Light Up to progress - which you will have just acquried from Oak's Assistant back on the side of Route 2, before heading here!

Assuming you have it then, you'll be prompted on entering Rock Tunnel to use the Secret Technique and doing so will rather nicely light the whole place up. Hooray! You can now continue as normal through what is actually a pretty straight forward cave, albeit with a large amount of fairly tricky trainers along the way.

We recommend you keep topping up your squad with potions as you go, just to avoid any nasty surprises. The good thing though is that Rock Tunnel is effectively linear: each level only has one ladder you can take to the next floor at a time, so there's no risk of getting lost. Simply explore each area you arrive on after taking a ladder, and take the next one you find to the next area, until you reach the exit.
