Pokémon Let's Go Underground Path one and two - available Pokémon, items and trainers

Our complete Pokémon Let's Go walkthrough and guide to your big adventure with Pikachu or Eevee.

Underground Path one and two are two super-simple routes that take you under Saffron City. The first follows on from Route 5, whilst the second will take you from Route 8 to Route 7 on the way to Celadon City.

Below, we'll cover any and all of the obtainable Pokémon, item locations, trainers and their squads that you might encounter in the area, as well as walking you through any key steps of the story along the way.

We've also opted to break out walkthrough pages down into sections, referring to each of your visits to a given location, seeing as you often backtrack or revisit various places in your quest to become Champion! Where applicable, we'll split our page into one section for each visit, and of course if there are any, clearly mark any spoilers, too!

For more like this, be it specific systems explainers or walkthrough pages on more locations, head back to our main Pokémon Let's Go walkthrough and guide hub.

Pokémon Let's Go: Underground Path one

The first Underground path runs from north to south under Saffron City, acting as a bypass that takes you from the bottom of Route 5 to the top of Route 6.

It's dead simple - the path is just one straight line with now wild Pokémon or Trainers to encounter - but there are several items, with a handful of good hidden items worth noting in particular.

Available Items

RepelJust on the right after entering the tunnel
LureOn the left in the tunnel, near the end
NuggetHidden, on left hand side nearer the north end
Pretty WingHidden, on left hand side halfway through
RepelHidden, half way along on the right

Head back to our main Pokémon Let's Go walkthrough and guide hub for all our pages in one place, including detailed, step-by-step help for tough spots like Cerulean Cave, and the Elite Four, plus tough dungeons like Silph Co., Seafoam Islands and Victory Road. Otherwise, take a peek(achu) at our Pokémon Let's Go TM list and all TM locations, Let's Go's starter locations and how to get Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, along with how to get Mew in Let's Go, and how to get Meltan in Let's Go and Go too. Beyond that we also explain how connect Pokémon Go to Let's Go on Nintendo Switch and transfer Pokémon, Catching, catch combos, and how to catch Pokémon, a quick collection of our best Pokémon Let's Go tips and tricks to get you off to a great start, and finally what we know about the Pokémon Pass app distribution event too.

Pokémon Let's Go: Underground Path two

The second Underground Path works much the same as the first, only this one runs from east to west, from Route 8 to the Route 7 under Saffron City.

Again, there are no Pokémon on Trainers to encounter, but there are some items, both visible and hidden, worth collecting.

Available Items

X AccuracyAlong the top hand side
Super LureHidden, along the bottom side, west of the X Accuracy
X DefenseAlong the bottom hand side
Pretty WingHidden, along the top side, closer to the east end.

That's all for the Underground Paths - as we said, they're dead simple! - so continue on to Route 6 for the next steps in your quest if you're travelling from Route 5 towards Vermilion City, or cycle back to our main Pokémon Let's Go walkthrough and guide hub for all the other pages we have like this.
