Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter World's Mega-Man-themed collaboration event will begin this Friday, October 19th, on PC.

More specifically, the Mega Man event, which first arrived on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 back in April, will run from 1am GMT on October 19th until 12:59am GMT on November 2nd in the UK. That gives players two weeks to complete the special A Rush of Blood quest that accompanies the collaboration.

A Rush of Blood, which requires players to be HR13 or above and features Mega Man music that changes depending on a player's choice of weapon, pits fearless hunters against two Odogaron in Monster Hunter World's Arena. Successfully completing the quest rewards one Mega Man Ticket, and these can eventually be exchanged for the Palico Mega Manα Full Armour Set (requires three tickets) and Mega Busterα (two tickets).

The Palico outfit, incidentally, turns your feline companion into a frankly wonderful 3D-pixellated Mega Man, which you can admire in glorious animated detail in the trailer above.

To get involved in Monster Hunter World's Mega Man collaboration event, PC players will need to update their game to revision number 154766, which is available to download now.
