The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season launches next week on Switch

With seasons two and three to follow.

Telltale Games has announced that The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season will be lurching menacingly onto Switch next week, on August 28th.

As you can probably surmise from its title, The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season bundles up all five zombie-infested episodes of Telltale's first (and arguably best) Walking Dead season. As you may not be able to surmise from the title, it also features the largely self-contained DLC episode, 400 Days.

Telltale's first The Walking Dead season, which begins the tale of series anchor Clementine, launched in 2012. However, rather than presenting Switch owners with the dusty old original episodes, The Complete First Season on Nintendo's console consists of ports from last year's The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection on Xbox One and PS4.

Those were the days.

This complete collection of episodes from the series' first three seasons introduced substantial visual and performance enhancements to seasons one and two, which Switch owners will also be able enjoy when The Complete First Season arrives next week.

The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season will cost $24.99 USD (around £20) and will be available to download via the Switch eShop come August 28th. Telltale has also announced that The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: A New Frontier are making their way to Nintendo's console later this year.
