Hungry Shark World lands on consoles today

Gill, sands.

Hungry Shark World is a mobile game from Ubisoft in which you race around as a shark, eating things and unlocking new sharks. As of today, though, it's also available on Switch, PS4 and Xbox One with fully optimised gamepad controls and upgraded visuals for 4K displays on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

It's charming and a bit throwaway, I think: you gad about taking on foes of different sizes and completing missions. On mobile it's free to play and supported by in-app purchases of in-game currencies that cut through the grind a little. On consoles, it's a straight-up £7.99 purchase.
