Fortnite - Greasy Grove treasure map location
Where to find the treasure map in Greasy Grove and the reward it leads to in Fortnite.
Finding the Greasy Grove treasure map location is the objective of one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.
Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 4 rewards.
Note you'll need to be a Battle Pass holder in order to undertake this challenge.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.
How the Greasy Grove treasure map works
For the Week 5 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:
- Follow the treasure map in Greasy Grove (1 total, 10 Battle Stars)
Another from this week is Dance with others to raise the Disco Ball near Loot Lake.
Greasy Grove hides a map that paves the way to a hidden treasure. Note only those with the Battle Pass will be able to see it, and when you get there, the map features a diagram of where the treasure can be found.
However, you can skip this first step and go straight to the treasure location - as explained later on this page - if you prefer to do so.
As with other challenges, you must do these as you play matches - you cannot enter the map without other players - so you'll have to avoid combat encounters as you attempt to find each location.

Greasy Grove treasure map location
Greasy Grove itself is in the south-west of the map. However, you don't actually need to go there to get the treasure the map leads to.
Where the map points to isn't a million miles away - it's just east of Snobby Shores, on the border of map segments 5A and 5B.
Snobby Shores consists of several houses lined up along the coast.
If you head towards the top (north-most) house from the Battle Bus, and look opposite (east), you'll see a huge house embedded in the cliff.
Approach the house, and land on the thin piece of roof on the face of the house. When you do, the Treasure will appear.
This one of the most hotly contested treasures we've come across by the way - if you're going for this just as the challenge releases, expect quite a crowd to be with you. Grab it quick before someone takes you down!
Note you need to complete the match in order for the challenge to be finished. Quitting the match as soon as you collect it won't work, so make sure you keep going.
