Fortnite - Moisty Mire treasure map location

Where to locate the treasure map in Moisty Mire and find its bounty in Fortnite.

Finding the Moisty Mire treasure map location is the objective of one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 3 rewards. Note you'll need to be a Battle Pass holder in order to undertake this challenge.

If you're just getting started, our Fortnite Battle Royale tips and tricks can provide some helpful hints.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. So what's changed since? Check out the Fortnite Season 8 Battle Pass skins, the new Fortnite map changes and the Victory Umbrella.

How the Moisty Mire treasure map works

For the Week 9 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:

  • Follow the treasure map in Moisty Mire (1 total, 10 Battle Stars)

Another on the list during Week 9 includes the search for the Taco Shop locations.

Moisty Mire hides a map that paves the way to a hidden treasure. Note only those with the Battle Pass will be able to see it, and on the map features a diagram of where the treasure can be found.

However, you can skip this first step and go straight to the treasure location - as explained later on this page - if you prefer to do so.

As with other challenges, you must do these as you play matches - you cannot enter the map without other players - so you'll have to avoid combat encounters as you attempt to find each location.

Season 8 and The Sideways have arrived in Fortnite. You can now start collecting the Season 8 Battle Pass skins, using the Sideways weapons, partaking in Sideways encounters, investigate the map changes and obtain the new Victory Umbrella! Make a start on the Season 8 questlines, with the IO Heist and finding IO guards and mending locations for Baba Yaga. You can also start collecting colour bottles for Tonna Fish and completing the new character collection.

Moisty Mire treasure map location

Moisty Mire is located in the south-east of the map, which is where you'll find this specific map to tell you where to go next. However, you don't need to go here first. The map - which was datamined on the Fortnite subreddit before the weekly update - tells us to locate a house in the woods, then go to a building nearby with two chimneys. It's here where we'll find the treasure.

Ultimately, you'll need to go south-west of Retail Row, where there are two houses in the middle of some woods, specifically on the border between G6 and H6.

Of these two houses, find the one that's north, with the double chimney. Ideally you'd drop straight down on top of it

Approaching from the east, you'll want the right (north-most) house.

When you find the right spot the treasure will appear on the screen. Use the button prompt that appears on the screen to collect it.

Note you need to complete the match in order for the challenge to be finished. Quitting the match as soon as you collect it won't work, so make sure you keep going.

Use the opportunity to complete other Challenges, perhaps, or simply try and finish as high as you can!
