Life is Strange comic series will return to Arcadia Bay

Bae serious.

If you're an emotional wreck after two seasons of Life is Strange adventures - well, you shouldn't put away your handkerchiefs just yet.

Titan Comics has announced a four-part Life is Strange comic book series which will return to the series' setting of Arcadia Bay one more time.

The limited-run comic will launch this year and feature "beloved characters", although there's no further detail on when exactly it will be set.

Due to the multiple endings of the original series it feels likely we'll get a story which takes place around the same time as the games, or just before.

A teaser image for the comic series shows Blackwell Academy.

Life is Strange's prequel season Before the Storm and its finale bonus episode Farewell neatly expanded upon and wrapped up the series' central characters of Max, Chloe and Rachel. So, as much as I'm delighted there's more from Arcadia Bay to come via comics, there's a very high quality bar to meet to warrant going back once again.

Back in the world of games, Life is Strange creator Dontnod is working on an all-new chapter in the Life is Strange series, with a fresh setting and cast of characters. Hopefully we won't have to wait much longer to hear more about that.
