Final Fantasy 15 - Engaging the Empire, tackling Aracheole Stronghold, MA-X Maniple boss battle

How to complete the Aracheole Stronghold in Final Fantasy 15.

Engaging the Empire, Aracheole Stronghold and the MA-X Maniple boss battle is a continuation of Chapter 5, so make sure you complete Fociaugh Hollow first.

Make your way to the marker in Kelbass Grasslands, then head for the nearby camp to come up with a plan.

Engaging the Empire and Aracheole Stronghold

Once positioned outside the fortress Ignis will give you a countdown. When he reaches zero use a Warp attack to kill the enemy ahead then turn to the right and take out the second. Head for the marker, and follow Ignis behing the shipping containers.

Warp kill three more guards then unlock the laser gate - don't worry about the spotlight. There are six more enemies ahead and warp killing them requires some timing and finesse, so it may prove quicker to simply tackle them head on.

Once the coast is clear unlock the next laser gate and head towards the Regalia. Just when things are looking good a mech and a platoon of guards will show up but there's a gun emplacement on one of the overhead gantries that you can use to even the odds a little, and plenty of Warp spots to hang from to refresh yourself.

Once the area is cleared Ignis will direct you towards a generator in the distance. Unlock the gate again, deal with the mech that turns up, and head to the target.

Need more help? Our Final Fantasy 15 guide and walkthrough can provide tips on main story, as well as the open-world's many quests and activities. Learning how to get AP fast, EXP fast and money or Gil fast will aid you in many optional dungeons and tombs - including how to open and explore their locked doors. There's also plenty of interesting side-quests, too, such as the Scraps of Mystery and Professors Protege frog locations. And if you want to get around easier, you can rent a Chocobo, learn the infinite sprint trick and later in the game, get the flying car Regalia Type F. There's also more to see and do with DLC, such as Episode Gladiolus and Episode Prompto.

MA-X Maniple boss battle

There's an MA-X Maniple here protecting it, and taking it out the mech by hand is a test of endurance so instead focus your attention on the generator. Once it's destroyed you'll be invited to summon Ramuh the Fulgarian who will destroy any remaining enemies with a single blow.

Head back to the car, drive to Lestallum, and talk to Iris to start Chapter 6 and All Set to Sail to continue the story.
