There's a winter event coming to For Honor and, with it, a limited two-versus-two brawl on a frozen lake of thin ice! Better yet, it melts and cracks the longer you fight.

The Frost Wind Festival takes place from 21st December through to 4th January 2018, so there's plenty of time to give it a go.

In addition to the Ice Brawlers mode there will be new winter-themed cosmetic gear, including a special Mask outfit for each faction. This is discounted to 15,000 steel for a limited time. Hero bundles of cosmetic items will be available from 28th December.

Season Four of the For Honor year is currently under way, offering the Order & Havoc content pack which comes with two high damage output heroes: the dual katana-wielding Aramusha, and the hatchet and dagger-wielding Shaman.

For Honor was an early 2017 release and it arrived with a wallop - Wes, our resident fighting game fan, was smitten. "For Honor is the best fighting game I've played in ages," he wrote. Unfortunately there were issues with peer-to-peer online connectivity and lag, but For Honor officially has plans for dedicated servers now which should solve the problem.
