Black Friday 2017: Digital Foundry says this 4K TV is a great TV/monitor for 349

Another fine Samsung for your consideration.

If you're looking for a reasonably-priced 4K TV this Black Friday, you could do worse than the 40-inch Samsung UE40MU6120. It's not proper HDR, Digital Foundry tells us - it's not certified to the higher UHD Premium standard - but it's a brilliant monitor and quite reasonably priced at 349, and it's a great choice if you're gaming in a bedroom or an office.

Last year's model currently sits on the desk of Digital Foundry founder Rich Leadbetter, which is about as glowing a recommendation as you're likely to get in tech circles. It's not a short-term discount and is available at 349 pretty much everywhere - we've linked to Amazon below, but you can get it from John Lewis or AO.com if you'd rather.

For more recommendations of this stripe, we commend you to visit our pages of Black Friday PC gaming deals, and our pick of the best 4K and HDR Black Friday deals. We'll be freshening those up throughout today and the weekend.
