Black Friday 2017: This is the best Nintendo Switch bundle so far this year

Update: And it's gone. Best price now £269 for console or £329 with two games

Update 26/11/2017 Well now. Amazon has scared up an even better Nintendo Switch deal for Cyber Monday - it'll be offering a Switch with Mario Odyssey and Mario Rabbids for £299. That's a touch pricier, obviously, but you're making a big saving on two excellent games.

Update 25/11/2017 The Mario bundle is all gone - the current best price for Nintendo Switch is still at Amazon, at £269.99 for the console on its own or £279.99 with Mario + Rabbids. The best Nintendo Switch Black Friday deal still live is at GAME, where you can get a Nintendo Switch with Super Mario Odyssey and Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle for £329.99.

Update 3:19 pm: A few have you have gotten in contact to say that you've been able to buy the console via the deal's waitlist, as the site gives you 15 minutes to check out before cancelling your order. This means people may be dropping out and thus, more consoles become available. Keep checking. Amazon also have an alternative bundle available featuring Mario + Rabbids for £279.99.

Update 3:03 pm: And they're sold out. They're sold out within three minutes. Wow. Well, hope you grabbed one while they were available.

Update 3:00 pm: There we go, this deal is live now. In short - go forth and buy, this one won't last long.

Update 10:20 am: Amazon has now confirmed that the Limited Edition Black Friday Switch bundle with Mario has sold out, however a variation on that console deal will be going live as a very limited offer at 3 pm. Specifically, you'll be getting a Nintendo Switch Neon console with Super Mario Odyssey for £279.99, only missing out on the red Joy-Cons in the previous bundle. You'll need to camp out on the link below this afternoon and try your best to grab one of these bundles. Good luck.

Update 8:10 am: Well, inevitably enough, it looks like this deal at Amazon has now sold out (though you may want to keep refreshing just in case more stock appears), so the nextbest bundle is over at GAME, where you can get a Switch console with Mario + Rabbids for £279.99. That bundle is also now available at Amazon. The cheapest Nintendo Switch around so far is at Tesco, where you can get a Nintendo Switch Neon console for £269. We'll update with other Switch deals when they show up.

Original story: Well, here it is. Black Friday 2017 has begun and the deals are in full swing, as evidenced by this absolute blinder of a Nintendo Switch deal over at Amazon UK right this very second.

If you head over to the site at the moment, you'll be able to pick up a Limited Edition Nintendo Switch console with red Joy-Cons and Super Mario Odyssey for the price of a regular console - £279.99.

This is by far the best Nintendo Switch deal we're likely to see this Black Friday and we've been keeping track of all sorts of Black Friday deals, and will continue to until the whole thing is done with for another year. What with this not only being a limited stock bundle, but also a Black Friday deal going live at midnight UK time and being quite a good price to say the least, there's a high chance that this deal will sell out swiftly. If you've been waiting on getting a Switch for the best possible Black Friday deal, now's the time to pull the trigger.
