Jelly Deals: PSN sale, Xbox Deals with Gold and other digital discounts this week
NieR: Automata! Stellaris! Resident Evil 7! Indie stuff!
A note from the editor: Jelly Deals is a deals site launched by our parent company, Gamer Network, with a mission to find the best bargains out there. Look out for the Jelly Deals roundup of reduced-price games and kit every Saturday on Eurogamer.
You guessed it, it's been another week chock-full of discounts and price cuts on downloadable games. Today, the UK PlayStation Store reduced just over 250 titles with some rather nice savings. On top of that, Green Man Gaming's having itself a seventh birthday sale and Humble's gone and made another new bundle. All that, and there's still the Xbox Live Deals with Gold to talk about. Let's just get right to it, shall we?
PSN EU Sale
The UK PlayStation Store was updated this morning with a whole batch of brand new price cuts. This should have extended to the other European PlayStation Stores as well but for now, we can only verify the UK's savings. Feel free to click these lovely links and find out for yourself (it should redirect to your local PSN store), but your mileage may vary. Nevertheless, there are some good offers, most notably NieR: Automata reduced to £34.99 and the entirety of Metal Gear Solid 5 for £11.99.
Some highlights:
- NieR: Automata for £34.99
- The Telltale Games Collection for £19.99
- Resident Evil 7: biohazard for £29.99
- Stardew Valley for £7.39
- Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience for £11.99
- Dead Rising Triple Bundle Pack for £15.99
- Heavy Rain & Beyond: Two Souls Collection for £15.99
- PAYDAY 2: Crimewave Edition for £6.49
- 7 Days To Die for £9.99
- Resident Evil 4, 5 and 6 for £7.99 each
Xbox Live Deals with Gold
Those of you who are both Xbox One owners and Xbox Live Gold members (the venn diagram of which I imagine resembles a near perfect circle) have access to some extra savings this week as a part of Microsoft's 'Deals with Gold' initiative. Here are some highlights:
Humble's offerings
Over at Humble, there is a couple of new developments. Firstly, the Humble Monthly subscription games have now switched over into a brand new set. On the bad side, that means the last month's worth of games are now unavailable. On the good side, it means a fresh set is coming and you can get instant access to space-trucking strategy 4X-esque game Stellaris when you sign up for $12 (about £10) right now.
Stellaris for $12 / £10 as part of Humble Monthly
The other new thing is, of course, a brand new Humble Bundle. This time, it's the Humble 'TinyBuild' Bundle, which brings together up to twelve of indie publisher TinyBuild's games in a 'Pay what you want' model bundle, including a pre-order for the upcoming stalk 'em up Hello Neighbor. Here's the line-up:
Pay what you want
- Divide by Sheep
- Road to Balhalla
- No Time To Explain Remastered
- SpeedRunners
Pay more than the average
- Party Hard
- The Final Station
- ClusterTruck
- Guts and Glory (Early Access)
- Punch Club Deluxe
Pay $15 (£11.61) or more
- The Final Station: The Only Traitor DLC
- Streets of Rogue (Early Access)
Pay $39.99 (£30.96) or more
- Hello Neighbor with Artbook and Songs (Pre-order)
Green Man Gaming's Birthday Sale
Green Man Gaming is celebrating its seventh birthday (!) with seven days of deals. That all kicks off today with a few choice offerings, all of which can be reduced by an extra 20 per cent when you enter the code 7YEARS during checkout, so make sure you do that.
Today's offer is on a copy of Grand Theft Auto 5 with a stack of virtual in-game cash, all for £23.79 / €32.19 / $38.07 once you use that coupon.
Be sure to check back each day, though, as the games and offers change while that extra 20 per cent off voucher remains valid. Offers will switch at 2PM GMT each day so keep your eyes peeled.
