EA hasn't given up on Titanfall 2 yet. Here's what's still coming

More maps, a new Titan, and an increased level cap.

Despite lackluster launch sales, EA hasn't thrown in the towel yet for Titanfall 2. Developer Respawn revealed its DLC plans for the highly acclaimed shooter between now and the end of June and there's a healthy stock of free content coming.

This includes two general multiplayer maps, two Live Fire levels, and a new Titan.

Paid content, which is limited to cosmetic items, will include Prime Titan versions of Ronin and Tone.

That's the major stuff, but a series of updates will add more minor upgrades, like an increased level cap to 100.

Additionally, these patches will add:

  • Expanded Private Match settings including the addition of Live Fire and Coliseum to the selectable modes.
  • A new Faction.
  • Marked for Death game mode.
  • More Pilot executions.
  • Addition refinements to matchmaking like estimated wait time and more.
  • More purchasable camos, skins, etc. from the store.
  • And more!

There will also be free trials here and there, though the schedule for these has yet to be announced.

Titanfall 2 received top marks from Eurogamer where it was voted runner-up for our Game of the Year.
