Modder adds Rick and Morty's Rick to GTA5
And that's the waaaaay the news goes!
Next week Oculus Rift and HTC Vive owners will get a chance to play Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-Ality, but those without VR headsets may find themselves going through Rick withdrawals. Thankfully, Grand Theft Auto 5 modder Jedidiah515 has a solution and has added the popular Adult Swim character to Rockstar's open-world crime game.
As captured in this video by YouTuber Modded Games (cheers, PC Gamer), the Rick Sanchez mod lets you play as the smartest, and most nihilistic, man in the universe.
It doesn't just transform the player character into Rick either. Plenty of NPCs, including exotic dancers, have been transformed into Ricks as well. This doesn't stop him from relentlessly slaughtering his parallel counterparts as Ricks hate themselves most of all.
Beyond playing as Rick and hearing his hilarious catchphrases, this mod also lets you pilot his spaceship. Wubba-lubba-dub-dub!
