Pixelated fairytale game Kingdom - actually a fiendishly tricky strategy game I Recommended in a review - is coming to iOS and Android on 31st January. It'll be $9.99, which now translates to £9.99, thanks Brexit.

Kingdom is a natural fit for mobiles because the controls and gameplay are so simple. You touch the screen at points to spend coins on building structures or units that protect your settlement at night. You expand right or left; this is a side-scrolling game. And that's all you really know to begin with, that 'What do I do?' question being very much part of the game.

The mobile version is called Kingdom: New Lands and has exactly the same content as on PC and Xbox One. It can be played on Apple TV.
