Obduction is coming to PS4 with PSVR support

HTC Vive and Mac versions also on the way.

Obduction, the spiritual successor to Myst made by that series' creator Cyan, is coming to PS4.

Better yet, it will have PlayStation VR support.

This may not come as a surprise, as the game's PC version received Oculus Rift support on Halloween, approximately two months after its late August launch.

"After nearly 20 years, we're thrilled to be heading back to console," said Cyan CEO and Myst co-creator Rand Miller. "With its massive player base and rich PSVR experience, PlayStation is the perfect platform to introduce Obduction's meticulously-crafted worlds to millions seeking to magically transport themselves elsewhere."

Indeed Miller and co. are very excited about the emergence of VR and have recently announced that they're working on an HTC Vive version of Obduction, due next year. "Cyan has seen the future and we're all in on VR," Miller stated.

Furthermore, a Mac version of Obudction is "coming soon".
