Call of Duty's PlayStation VR bonus is free for everyone

Doesn't actually require Infinite Warfare to play.

Call of Duty's new PlayStation VR demo, the Jackal Assault VR Experience, doesn't actually require owning Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare in order to play.

Instead, it's a free demo for everyone with Sony's new headset. "The Jackal Assault VR Experience will be available to all PS4 owners, not just for players who have purchased the game, as a free, added bonus," Activision stated on the Call of Duty blog.

In order to try the demo, simply download it from the PlayStation Store. It will be under the VR section with the full title Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - Jackal Assault VR Experience.

Jackal Assault puts players in the cockpit of a fighter ship after being attacked during a routine training mission. The beginning of the footage above shows us a glimpse of the game's deep space dogfighting, so imagine that, but in VR, and you'll have a pretty good idea of what to expect.
