Civilization 6 lets players select from multiple leaders when choosing the civilization they want to play.

I mean, Firaxis did sort of give this away in a livestream a little while ago, in which lead designer Ed Beach got a little carried away while showing off the game's Civilopedia. Poor Ed.

But yes, we have official confirmation today with a new first look (or should that be second look?) video for the Greek leader, Gorgo.

If you do select Gorgo, rather than the other Greek leader, Pericles, you can take advantage of a different unique ability: Thermopylae. With this she ensures you receive a culture boost with each enemy unit you kill. And Gorgo's leader agenda is With Your Shield or On It. This means Gorgo "seeks glory in combat", therefore she will never give up items in a peace deal. She prefers civs who haven't yielded in a peace deal and dislikes any civ who has surrendered in a peace deal or any civ who has never engaged in war. Aside from that, the civilization traits remain unchanged.

Oh here's a nice touch, actually! Whilst playing as Gorgo, Greece's colours are brown and blue (rather than green and blue), and your capital city is automatically named Sparta (rather than Athens).

No word on the other secondary leaders just yet, so we'll have to wait and see whether the most Christian Donlan request of all time is answered.
