2K is reviving a Wii game for its VR debut

Remember Carnival Games?

2K Games is resurrecting an old Wii game for its first foray into virtual reality via PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and eventually Oculus Rift.

Remember Carnival Games, the 2007 local multiplayer mini-game collection? Well that's what 2K is bringing to the table for its VR debut.

Due on 28th October for PSVR and HTC Vive, Carnival Games VR collects a dozen different mini-games for £15.99.

These include shooting galleries, catching games, climbing challenges and more.

Eurogamer's former mini-game collection connoisseur Ellie Gibson found the original Wii version of Carnival Games a little lacking, albeit still fun in short doses with friends.

"It's not as good as Wii Sports or WarioWare, but if you've played those games to death this isn't a bad alternative," she wrote in her Carnival Games review.
