Wii U-exclusive Paper Mario: Color Splash due in October

Is it cut out to save the Wii U?

Nintendo is running low on Wii U exclusives between now and the launch of NX next March, but the big N still has one trick up its sleeve with Paper Mario: Color Splash, which just received a 7th October release date.

This latest entry in the Paper Mario saga sees Nintendo's portly plumber restoring the troubled Prism Island, which has been stripped of its colours. Mario is now equipped with a Paint Hammer that splashes the world with paint, ala Splatoon. Players can also use scissors to slice out pieces of the environment, done by tracing lines on the GamePad.
