Street Fighter 5's next DLC character is Ibuki

Comes out alongside story mode in June.

Capcom has unveiled Ibuki as Street Fighter 5's next DLC character.

The tricksy ninja works slightly differently in SF5 than previous versions of the game. Here, she can glide through the air and toss out ninja bombs, making it hard to predict where she will land. Also, now she can only stock five kunais at a time, so you have to think strategically about their use.

Ibuki's V-Trigger is called Isshaku Horokudama. Here, she chucks a bomb at her opponent. Depending on which direction is held, the bomb either goes off quickly, after a slight delay or after a longer delay. It sounds like you can trigger the explosion manually, too.

Alongside the launch of Ibuki is a brand new alternate stage: a daytime version of the Kanzuki Estate (Karin's arena), named Estate at Noon.

Now for the bad news: Ibuki will not be released in May, rather alongside the story mode at some point in June. This news has disappointed Street Fighter 5 players, particularly those who bought the game's season pass, as Capcom had promised one DLC character would be released each month for six months following the game's February launch. We had Alex in March, Guile in April, but now Ibuki is skipping May, we won't have one this month. The in-game shop still hasn't launched, either.
