Knight For Hire

Found on the noticeboard at the Cockatrice Inn.

Head for the marker and talk to Rafael. Fifteen locations will be marked on your map - they're an assortment of Abandoned Places, Monster Nests, Hanses, and other similar tasks - and you'll receive a few Crowns for each one you clear when you return to him.

There Can Be Only One

On Gran'place noticeboard.

Swim out to the island and head for the rather curious small pond in the middle to find a hermit. Talk to him, and then engage him in combat - for an old guy he's fairly tough, but he shouldn't provide too much resistance - and defeating him will earn you the Aerondight Relic silver sword which can increase its maximum damage with use, and is particularly handy against large mobs.

Father Knows Worst

On Gran'place noticeboard.

Head to the marker and make your way into the cave to meet the hapless brothers. Agree to help then apply some Insectoid oil and head into the murky depths - as soon as you've climbed up the step you'll be assaulted by some Kikmores. Once it's safe use Witcher Sense to pick up the trail and follow it through the cave. When you reach the pool of hot water cast a Quen shield, use Witcher Sense to locate the Still Filter, then dive in and grab it. Climb back to dry land and continue along the trail until you locate Hugo, then give him the missing part and head to the cave exit. You have the option to settle matters by force or diplomacy so make your choice and the quest is complete.
