Nolan North's making a mobile game

Based on Con Man.

Nolan "Nathan Drake" North is used to starring in games. Now, he's turning his hand to making one.

North, fresh from reprising his role as Nathan Drake in the soon-to-be-released Uncharted 4, will soon have a stab at producing a mobile game.

The mobile game is based on Con Man, a comedy web series that found huge success on IndieGoGo before launching on Vimeo On Demand.

The show is executive-produced by and stars Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion, who played a spaceship pilot and captain on the much-loved Firefly.

In Con Man, North plays Jerry Lansing, the self-proclaimed "Mo-cap king", a character he dreamed up while making Uncharted.

This year North will work on season two of Con Man as well as its mobile game.

"It was a character of my own doing just goofing around as Troy [Baker] and I were talking, called Jerry Lansing," North told Eurogamer.

"I'm bringing him to life and we've just been picked up for season two, so that's shooting in June.

"And I will also be doing some work, my first hand at producing, a mobile game for Con Man as well, with Alan and Nathan and PJ Haarsma, and Felicia Day will also be involved."

Little is known about Con Man The Game, save for players will build their own comic convention and defend it from aliens. It's being developed by Canadian studio Frima, which worked on the PlayStation version of Hitman Go, the PlayStation Vita port of Resident Evil: Revelations 2, and created Chariot, among many other titles.

Con Man raised a whopping $3.1m on IndieGoGo in April 2015. Con Man The Game was a $3m stretch goal.

After a well-received Comic Con panel in July, the show aired on Vimeo on Demand late last year. It's also out on Blu-ray and DVD.
