Funcom's horror game The Park is coming to PS4 and Xbox One in May

Dev's first console release since 2006's Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.

Funcom, the developer of The Longest Journey and The Secret World, will launch its first-person horror game The Park on 3rd May for PS4 and Xbox One.

It was previously slated to arrive on PS4 last week, but was delayed a bit.

This will be Funcom's first console release since 2006's Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.

The narrative-driven "walking simulator" debuted last October on PC. It follows the exploits of a mother looking for her missing son in a creepy abandoned amusement park.

Eurogamer contributor Dan Whitehead wasn't a big fan, however. "You need an incredibly assured hand on the narrative wheel in order to allow the player to find and compile all the info needed, and The Park just doesn't have that confident construction," he wrote in his review of The Park.
