Project Cars on Oculus Rift looks intense

Hold on to your hats!

This week Oculus revealed a virtual reality version of racing game Project Cars. It's due out alongside the Rift headset later this month.

Now, via developer Slightly Mad Studios, we see how Project Cars' virtual reality version looks - and it's pretty impressive.

The video, below, shows how you can play the game from within the driving seat, and are able to look around even as you're overtaking.

Project Cars on Oculus Rift carries an "intense" comfort rating, and it's easy to see why. Just don't eat a burrito before you play!

The Project Cars tweet was met with questions about the game potentially coming to the PlayStation VR and Vive headsets. The response was standard, nothing to see here fare. But given Slightly Mad popped up on a list of third-party studios which are working on the PSVR, it sounds like other versions are likely.
