PlayStation blog page suggests No Man's Sky will be full-priced release

Pre-orders look set to open tomorrow.

No Man's Sky will be a full priced release and pre-orders for the game will open tomorrow.

That's according to details posted on the PlayStation blog last night, which were then swiftly removed.

Hello Games' intergalactic sandbox was listed at $59.99 - the standard RRP for physical PS4 launches, so likely around £45 in the UK.

On the one hand, it's not a great surprise - No Man's Sky is set to be a huge game, by all accounts.

On the other hand, the price has sparked discussion online. There's no equating No Man's Sky's small team size with how much their game should be worth, but many still expected a lower price point. It's a similar situation to the price of Jonathan Blow's PS4 game The Witness - which cost £29.99 in the UK.

There's still plenty to find out about No Man's Sky before its launch in June. Hello Games has yet to detail its plans for post-release support, for one.

We expect Sony to reinstate its pre-order page tomorrow and will update this article when it does.
