Talisman: The Horus Heresy out now on PC

For (or against) the Emperor!

Talisman: The Horus Heresy comes out today on PC. On Steam it costs £18.99, but there's a 10 per cent discount during launch week.

The digital board game is based on the Talisman rule system and is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe during the events of the Horus Heresy.

The Horus Heresy takes place 10,000 years before the future setting of Games Workshop's tabletop war game. It's all about a civil war sparked by Horus, the Emperor's most trusted Warmaster. Horus, as you'd expect of a character who has a heresy named after him, betrays the Emperor. Traitor!

Back to the video game, Talisman: The Horus Heresy, by Nomad Games, lets you play against AI opponents, and features multiplayer for up to four players, who can each control one the 18 Space Marine legions that fought during the Horus Heresy. You play as one of the eight heroes or villains such as Roboute Guilliman or Angron, taking the side of either traitor or loyalist.

The video, below, gives you an idea of how it works.
