Song of the Deep is Insomniac's new aquatic Metroidvania

Ratchet & Clank and Sunset Overdrive developer Insomniac Games has revealed its previously teased title as the underwater metroidvania adventure Song of the Deep.

Due this summer on PS4, Xbox One and PC, Song of the Deep puts players in the role of a woman named Merryn who is searching for her lost fisherman father in a makeshift submarine. Along the way she'll encounter dangerous sea creatures and have to solve puzzles in the ruins of sunken cities.

Song of the Deep will be available digitally on all platforms while its physical edition will be exclusive to GameStop, who is publishing the retail release. You can pre-order it now for $14.99 (about £10).
