The Stanley Parable designer's new heist game is out now for free

It's called Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger And The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist.

Earlier this week The Stanley Parable designer William Pugh teased an upcoming game and now that game is out. It's a free 20-minute first-person affair called Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger And The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist.

William Pugh worked on The Stanley Parable's remake, but wasn't the original creator. That would be Davey Wreden, who recently made The Beginner's Guide.

Free on Steam and itch.io, Dr. Langeskov looks a little like Gravity Bone or Thirty Flights of Loving in that it's a cartoonish first-person adventure about a complex, whimsical heist.

It's also narrated by comedian Simon Amstell (Grandma's House, The Morning After Show).

As for the game being free, developer Crows Crows Crows said "You might be wondering how we can afford to do that. A Good Question. See, the fact of the matter is, this game isn't the only thing we've been working on over the past year. We have plenty more surprises in store in the New Year."

Check out the launch trailer for Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger And The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist below. Our impressions will soon follow.
