Female Link, Linkle, confirmed for Hyrule Warriors Legends

Also added: Skull Kids, Tetra, Toon Link, and King of Hyrule.

Hyrule Warriors Legends, the expanded 3DS version of Tecmo Koei's Wii U adventure Hyrule Warriors, adds five new characters including a female Link-alike named Linkle.

This new character was previously hinted at through some concept art and a mysterious crossbow found in the game's reveal trailer.

Sure enough, Linkle is equipped with two crossbows.

Along with Linkle, Hyrule Warriors Legends will feature four new characters. From Wind Waker we've got Toon Link, The King of Hyrule, and Tetra, the pirate version of Zelda that is simultaneously the character's cutest and most badass incarnation.

Elsewhere, Hyrule Warriors Legends will add the villainous Skull Kid from Majora's Mask.

Check out the first footage of Linkle in action below. Hyrule Warriors Legends will be released on 25th March.
