Helldivers is coming to Steam next month

It's a bughunt.

Co-op twin-stick shooter Helldivers is coming to PC via Steam in December, developer Arrowhead Game Studios has announced.

The 1-4 player arcade action game previously launched on PS4, PS3 and Vita in March.

Helldivers offers a procedurally-generated campaign that can be tackled either solo or with up to three friends, both locally and online. All three free expansions, up to and including Helldivers: Democracy Strikes Back, will be included in this PC port and additional DLC will be available for purchase.

"We have done our very best to ensure that the game will feel as good as possible when played on PC," said game director and CEO Johan Pilestedt. "With a wide range of graphic options, rebindable keys and an added text chat, we hope that we will meet the expectations which players have of a PC title."

Our Chris Donlan recommended mischievous Swedish shooter upon its launch earlier this year. "The star of the show is the panic that's generated as you head into adventure, knowing that you're this close to screwing everything up for your team in a darkly hilarious manner," he said in his Helldivers review.
