Watch: Ian play Transformers Devastation, live at 5pm

Bah-weep-Graaaaagnah wheep ni ni bong.

I'm a huge fan of Transformers. Not the Transformers featured in the crappy, slightly racist, poop joke-filled monstrosities that Michael Bay keeps guffing out though. Most definitely not. I'm talking proper, die-cast metal G1 bots - the ones that featured in the only Transformers movie that mattered - 1986's animated Transformers: The Movie.

Which is why I'm ever so excited to be streaming some Transformers Devastation for you at 5pm today. This robo-brawler from Platinum Games revisits the glory days of the G1 animated series, with gorgeous cell-shaded visuals and appearances from some of the TV show's original voice actors like Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) and Frank Welker (Megatron). Bit of an extra Friday factoid for you: you might also recognise their voices as Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh and Fred from Scooby Doo, respectively.

Anyway, while you wait for that to start, why not check out the amazing, transforming Optimus Prime costume I made a few years ago. I'm nearly 40 by the way.
