PS4 owners who want to get an early look at Dark Souls 3 may have an opportunity to do so as registration for its upcoming network stress test is now live.

This is a lottery, however, so signing up doesn't necessarily guarantee that you'll receive access to the early build.

Sign-ups run through 4th October at 3pm UK time.

The actual stress test will run from 16th-18th October and will only be available from 6-9pm GMT those days

"The test involves evaluating the load on game servers, checking the game system and balance, and eliminating any remaining bugs," Namco Bandai explained. "Don't be surprised if you run into bugs and other issues as you play."

Best of luck getting in!
