Amnesia: The Dark Descent is free today on Steam

Paint the man, cut the lines!

Cult classic first-person horror game Amnesia: The Dark Descent is free today on Steam.

This offer will run until 6pm UK time tomorrow, Wednesday 16th September.

Developer Frictional Games is getting a lot of hype at the moment for its upcoming spiritual successor to Amnesia, Soma, which is coming to PS4, PC, Mac and Linux on 22nd September.

Amnesia seems pretty similar as it tasks players with stealthily sneaking through poorly lit terrain as you try to avoid creepy monsters and figure out what in blue blazes is going on. It's also one of the scariest games I've ever played.
