New Xbox One bundle includes 1TB solid state hybrid drive

Boot up 20 per cent faster from energy saving mode.

Microsoft has announced a new Xbox One bundle that includes a 1TB solid state hybrid drive.

The drive, Microsoft said, stores frequently-accessed files on a solid state partition, and optimises the console's performance so it boots up 20 per cent faster from its energy-saving mode.

Also included in the 399.99 bundle is an Elite Wireless Controller, which Tom checked out back at E3, as well as a matte finish Xbox One. It's out this November.

Meanwhile, Microsoft announced an Xbox One Special Edition Lunar White Wireless Controller, below, which is the same as the regular controller but with a white and gold colour scheme and better grip texture. It's out later in September and costs 54.99.
