Video: Can Sublevel Zero bring back Descent's greatness?

Despite the fact it launched over 20 years ago, there's still something special about Descent's six degrees of freedom (6-DoF) gameplay. For all the variety of today's new releases, finding that same blend of floaty, liberated movement and cramped bottleneck corridors is still something of a rarity.

Enter Sublevel Zero, the upcoming shooter that aims to revive the 6-Dof genre and place it firmly back in the public consciousness. Ian got some hands-on time at Gamescom, as well as sitting the lead artist down for a quick chat. Can it shine in the same way Descent did in the nineties? Have a watch and find out.
