The Talos Principle out on PS4 this October

Understand?

First-person philosophical puzzle trip The Talos Principle comes out on PlayStation 4 on 13th October.

The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition includes the game and the expansion pack, Road to Gehenna. It's due out as a download and there's a physical edition, courtesy of publisher Bandai Namco.

The Talos Principle is made by Serious Sam developer Croteam, and came out on PC in December 2014. Stace Harman reviewed the PC version of The Talos Principle for Eurogamer and very much enjoyed it:

"Its chunky mechanical processes are underpinned by a compelling breadcrumb-trail narrative that tackles the intangible notion of humanity and consciousness," he wrote.

"Consequently, despite playing a robot that interacts with computer terminals and takes instruction from a disembodied voice in the sky, it exudes personality and charm; its mechanical precision complementing its aesthetic qualities. For an experience bereft of human contact it boasts a very big heart indeed."
