Nintendo's social network for Wii U and 3DS gamers will be refreshed this summer with a number of new features.

Users will be able to save up to 100 screenshots to a personal album, allowing you to easily browse images of your gaming moments.

Journals for users to record their thoughts on games will be introduced, and entries will replace the ability to post directly your activity feed.

Finally, Miiverse communities will be redesigned to feature more content on screen at any one time - and a better filter for content popular with the game's players.

Each community will be split into three sections, for journal entries, trending drawings, and tagged discussion threads.
