Final Fantasy 7 Remake is real

And it's coming to PS4 first.

The long called for Final Fantasy 7 Remake is real - and it's coming first to PlayStation 4.

Sony Computer Entertainment's Adam Boyes took to the stage during Sony's E3 2015 press conference to introduce a trailer for the remake, below, and he confirmed the timed exclusivity.

Yoshinori Kitase is listed as the producer, Kazushige Nojima is scenario designer, and Tetsuya Nomura is down as director.

There's no release window in sight, suggesting it may be some time before the Final Fantasy 7 Remake comes out. Hopefully we'll get more information during Square Enix's press conference tomorrow.
