Video: Rock Band 4 vs Guitar Hero Live

Plus more from videos from Outside Xbox.

Greetings, Eurogamers, and welcome to your video round-up from Outside Xbox, where this week we've mostly been up in the attic trying to find our plastic guitars

That's because Rock Band 4 is on the way, along with Guitar Hero Live. Both mean to revive the music game genre when they come out at pretty much the same time later this year, which is funny because oversaturation is why they stopped making these games in the first place.

In the meantime, Show of the Week gets the old band back together in preparation for rocking out on one or the other new title.

This week we also reminisced over the amazing box art you used to get before it became law for every game box to have the protagonist standing huffily with their back to you like you'd had an argument in IKEA.

Most of the time that box art gave you a decent idea what to expect, but consider these videogames whose epic box arts wrote cheques their actual gameplay couldn't cash.

Finally this week we played Dying Light's new DLC The Bozak Horde, which starts off with you waking up all groggy in Harran's sports stadium with a bomb strapped to your leg.

To survive you have to complete challenges set by the sadistic and mysterious Bozak - these involve defusing bombs, killing virals and first-person platforming. How will Mike and I fare in this Running Man-esque death game? Find out in this co-op Xbox One gameplay.
