Soma, the upcoming survival horror from Amnesia: The Dark Descent developer Frictional Games, launches on 22nd September.

Soma is headed to PC, Mac plus Linux via Steam, and also to PlayStation 4 as a digital-only title.

The game's story is set in a dilapidated deep sea research facility - think BioShock meets Dead Space.

"While Soma is certainly a supernatural experience, it's much more grounded in the real world with its hard sci-fi angle," Jeffrey Matulef wrote last year in Eurogamer's Soma preview.

"Aside from the occasional utterance from its lead character, Soma remains every bit as unsettling and mysterious as Frictional's previous efforts."
