Charles Dance, best known recently for his fabulous turn as Lannister patriarch Tywin in Game of Thrones, will star in The Witcher 3 (due out in under a month).

It's his first video game, can you believe it, and he's clearly impressed without how far they've come.

You can see him record a few of his lines and talk about his character - Emperor Emhyr var Emreis, the ruler of Nilfgaard (someone with an awful lot of similarities to Tywin Lannister) - in a new video published by Witcher 3 developer CD Projekt Red.

The Witcher 3 will be released 19th May for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
