Ultra Street Fighter 4 gets PS4 release date

Want to play next month? Shoryuken.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 will be heading to the PlayStation 4 on May 26th.

The port, being handled by Other Ocean Interactive, brings over all the DLC and all the characters Capcom's fighter accumulated across its numerous versions last generation, and paves the way for the launch of Street Fighter 5, the PlayStation 4 exclusive that's not yet got a release date.

The PlayStation 4's Ultra Street Fighter 4 also addresses some of the input lag problems some players had on the PlayStation 3 version, according to an official entry on the PlayStation Blog.

The May 26th release date is for both the Americas and Europe, with a US price-tag of $24.99.

Ultra Street Fighter 4 is quite the way to punch people in the face. "As the fifth (and reportedly final) version of Street Fighter 4," wrote Matt Edwards in our review last year, "Ultra is an ultimate end in more ways than one."
