Want to see how The Witcher 3's opening quarter hour begins? Well you're in luck, as that's a thing that exists today on the internet. And on this very page, too!

As part of IGN's exclusive "first" coverage, it's posted the first 15 minutes of The Witcher 3's gameplay. Note: It removed the opening cinematic to get to the meat of the action.

There will be some mild series spoilers, though it probably won't make a lot of sense for those who've not played the previous entires.

With his gravely voice, ponytail and horse, Geralt resembles a medieval version of The Phantom Pain's Snake. Perhaps The Witcher was an inspiration to Kojima?

The Witcher 3 is due out 19th May on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
