Dying Light tops UK chart as physical version finally launches

Dragon Ball Xenoverse in third, Dynasty Warriors in 21st.

Undead survival shooter Dying Light has scored the top spot in the new UK all-formats chart.

That's despite the game having been available as a digital download since 28th January. UK numbers company Chart-Track only counts physical copies sold, so this is Dying Light's first chart placing.

It arrives ahead of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare in second place and new entry Dragon Ball Xenoverse in third.

Last week's number one, PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order: 1886, fell down into fourth after a 56 per cent drop in sales.

The only other new entry was Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, which turned up in 21st position.

Grand Theft Auto 5, FIFA 15, Far Cry 4, Evolve and Minecraft filled out the rest of the top 10.

  1. Dying Light
  2. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
  3. Dragon Ball Xenoverse
  4. The Order: 1886
  5. Grand Theft Auto 5
  6. FIFA 15
  7. Far Cry 4
  8. Evolve
  9. Minecraft: Xbox Edition
  10. Minecraft: PlayStation Edition
