Life is Strange dev promises second episode in March

Following report of delay.

Life is Strange developer Dontnod has committed to launching the adventure series' second episode during March.

The confirmation comes after a Destructoid report that the game had been delayed.

Dontnod has promised that the second episode will arrive at some point before the end of next month - but this could still count as a small delay.

The developer previously promised that each episode would launch at six week intervals.

Life is Strange's first episode arrived on 30th January, suggesting a launch around the 13th March for part two.

"Dear friends of Life is Strange," publisher Square Enix added in a statement passed to Eurogamer.

"We've been asked to clear up the question of when Episode 2 will be released since there have been rumours of a delay. We would like to assure everyone that development is on track and we're looking to release it before the end of March.

"Thanks for all your support so far - we've loved reading all your feedback and comments. As a show of gratitude and something to enjoy before the game is available here's a piece of concept art for Episode 2: Out of Time."

An atmospheric teen adventure set in the Pacific north-west, Life is Strange mixes college drama with sci-fi shenanigans and a neat time-rewinding gameplay mechanic. See how it looks in our Let's Play below.
